Local Delivery:

Processing times for delivery

Our orders are processed on a day to day basis as we do next day delivery through our Sydney. 

Order cut off time is 11:59 pm every night. 

Once threshold is passed. You can’t not order for that following day. 

Orders placed for the future will be delivered on the day requested within the time selection slots. 

During peak times such as holidays. Order may not make it within your time slot but will allows arrive on that day. 

Where to we ship?

We ship to all of Sydney, Australia. All shipping is done same day through drivers. 

No other shipping options are available

Shipping costs

Our shipping costs range from $6.95 to $17.95. 

With our operations based in regents park, all sweets are products are distributed from here. Our shipping costs work as follows from the distribution location. 

Local delivery

All our deliveries are done locally through a third party “GoPeople” tracking codes will be sent out to all clients on the day of there selected delivery date with estimates of delivery time and map tracking.

Potential service interruptions

Orders may take longer to arrive due to variables outside of our control. Your delivery might  take longer than expected but will always arrive on the selected day of delivery as traffic variations and driver uncertainty changes by the minute.

Baklava Direct offers Australia-wide shipping on selected products.

All shipped items are perishable food products and are carefully packaged to maintain quality during transit.

2. Dispatch Timeframes


  • Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day

You will receive a confirmation once your order has been dispatched.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times vary depending on location and courier:


  • Metro areas: 1–3 business days

  • Regional areas: 2–5 business days

These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

4. Perishable Product Notice

By placing an order, you acknowledge:


  • The product is perishable

  • Transit conditions (including temperature and handling) are outside our control once dispatched

We take all reasonable steps to package products securely for transit.

5. Delivery Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to:


  • Provide a correct and complete delivery address

  • Ensure the order can be received promptly upon delivery

We are not responsible for:


  • Incorrect address details provided at checkout

  • Failed deliveries due to recipient absence

  • Orders left unattended after delivery

6. Courier & Delays

All orders are shipped via third-party couriers.

Baklava Direct is not liable for:


  • Courier delays

  • Transit disruptions

  • Late deliveries outside our control

However, if your order arrives damaged or unusable, please refer to our Refund Policy.

7. Product Condition on Arrival

If your order arrives:


  • Damaged

  • Compromised

  • Not fit for consumption

You must:


  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery

  • Provide:


    Order number


    Clear photos of the product and packaging


Failure to do so may result in your claim being declined.

8. Risk & Ownership

Ownership and risk pass to the customer once the order has been delivered.

9. No Date Selection for Shipped Orders

Australia-wide delivery items:


  • Do not require a delivery date selection

  • Are dispatched based on internal production schedules
